Hi! I’m Laura. With the encouragement of a good friend, I started this blog to catalog my favorite recipes and adventures in cooking. Shout out to Erica!
It all began with blueberry cobbler. Cobbler is a traditional Southern dessert, filled with yummy goodness. Blueberry cobbler is what I make for bbqs, for friends, and for fun.
Cooking is a hobby and a passion, as it allows me to share something special with family and friends. I’m not a chef; rather, I’m a simple girl who loves to cook. I am trying to learn new recipes, especially quick recipes I can whip up after a long day at the office or party recipes, the dishes I’d make for group of friends.
I am also slowly collecting cookbooks. (Those are mine on the header!) I’m partial to all things Southern – especially Southern Living and Paul Deen. Add a stick of butter!
